What it is

A single-player adventure RPG with puzzle solving and stealth-lite observation. Vendor of Curiosities is a small studio; this is their debut release under Kupaa Games. It's Windows-only, $16.19, out now.

Why it is getting attention now

It launched yesterday, so the review base is still too small to draw conclusions, and current player count sits at 77—modest, but typical for a first-day niche indie. The listing's own signals carry the weight: a distinctive premise (succubi as antagonists, not romance interests), a stress-focused atmosphere, and a cast of villainesses with defined personalities—like Lily, a succubus who hides behind a Vtuber avatar, and Morrigan, a manager whose kindness is a mask for sadism.

How a session actually plays

You start as the detective, exploring the inn and piecing together the fates of past guests. Early minutes are spent reading notes, observing routines, and solving logic puzzles that gate progress. The day-night cycle means rooms and NPCs change behavior; you'll time your movements to avoid drawing attention. A run is a slow burn of investigation and evasion, with the win condition being escape—unravel the mystery and find the door before you become another permanent guest.

Progression, builds and replay value

The game is narrative-driven rather than stat-heavy; progression comes from knowledge—learning schedules, unlocking areas, and understanding each succubus's motivations. Replay value likely lies in seeing how different observation paths reveal character backstories, though the listing doesn't promise branching endings.

Co-op and social play

Single-player only. The tension is all yours.

What players say

The review base is still too small to quote player feedback; check back after the first week.

Price versus what you get

At $16.19, you're paying for a focused, atmospheric puzzle-adventure with a unique antagonist cast. If you finish in a few hours, the price per hour is reasonable for genre fans.

Who should skip it

Skip if you want action-heavy combat or a large, replayable RPG system. This is a deliberate, observation-based game with a horror-adjacent mood—not a power fantasy.

The bottom line

Situation Succ: Inn Elysium is a promising debut with a strong hook: a detective story where the monsters are social, clever, and always watching. For $16.19, it's worth a wishlist if you like puzzle boxes and uneasy atmospheres.
